SOLVING UNSOLVED CASES
DAVID BITTON, THE GAZETTE - Derek Graham is a homicide detective for the Colorado Springs Police Department. Grahamís duties were refocused last year, and he now spends about half his time working on cold cases. Several old homicides have been solved since, said CSPD Sgt. Sal Fiorillo.
Patricia Elliott: Was killed in 2001. Three arrests were made in March in the cold case.
Timothy Nicholls is arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder and arson
in the deaths of his children.
