Jennifer was born November 24, 1975 to Irene & Gregg Yochum in the small town of Lawrence, Massachusetts. On November 5, 1999, just 19 days before her 24th birthday, she was killed at Memorial Hospital In Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she had worked for approximately one month.
Jennifer attended Elicott Baptist School and graduated from Hanover High School on May 26, 1994. She continued her education at Barnes Business College in Denver.
Jenny was active in many activities, such as Blue Birds, Girl Scouts, Volleyball, & Basketball, she played the Clarinet and Keyboards. She loved swimming, walking in the park or in the mountains, and animals, but most of all she loved people.
Jennifer grew up with 3 brothers, Jaimie (25), Billy Jr. (19), and Joe (16), all of Fountain, Colorado. She loved her brothers, each in their own special way. She held a spot in her heart for her sister-in-law, Melissa.
On March 19, 1982, Jennifer & her brother Jaimie were adopted by Bill Skinner, to become the Skinner family. Jenny was just 6 years old.
On April 8, 1995, Jennifer was a beautiful bride, and on October 6, 1996 she blessed our family with our first grandson, Michael Jr., and then on December 21, 1998, Mariah Page Irene, our beautiful granddaughter was born.
Jennifer has left her two beautiful children and lots of family and numerous friends who love and cherish the time shared with her. Jennifer was kind, loving and trusting, she was always there to help. She will be sadly missed by many.
May you rest in peace our Special Little Angel.
