Tomorrow would have been your Birthday,
shall we remember you with song and dance?
As I reflect upon cherished memories,
your picture casts me back a glance.
For the lives you touched of many diversities,
through my minds eye I see.
A unique chameleon of a man who could blend in harmony.
The children on the corner weep for their coach has gone away,
The dancers grieve the loss of Sen Sei on that day.
Know your death will change the lives of many
in ways not yet foreseen,
That what you shared with others,
was not an idle dream.
All forms of life you did embrace
with laughter and shared tears,
you looked beyond the handicaps,
man's judgments not your fear.
You defended the weak and lent a hand
to the man beaten down through life's journey,
You loyally held yourself with pride
holding strong the bond of family.
For those who knew and loved you,
you did not die in vain,
for in our hearts and memories
you forever shall remain.
And as I close my eyes
I can almost feel the brushing upon my cheek of your gentle touch,
Yes I am your special friend, your Mama,
the one who will forever love you so much.
