Wipe away the tear from your eye,

for there’s no longer need to cry.

My son died so your loved one could have

eternal life,

now he is with me in paradise.

I know you loved him, but I love him more,

I held his hand and gently led him through

the door,

He’s more alive now than he was before.

He’s happier now than he’s ever been,

In this perfect world without hurt or sin.

Asleep? No ! We walked together today,

and he watched you as you knelt to pray,
